Term Limits

I apologize in advance for the harsh language that follows...

so anyway, I picked up the buzz from the Tweeple about this ass-hat "professor" arguing for the repeal of the 22nd amendment.

"The time has come to end presidential term limits, because continuing the restrictions on how long one can serve in the country's highest office is bad for the United States, a university professor argued this week.
In an opinion piece published in the Washington Post, Jonathan Zimmerman, a history and education professor at New York University, says deciding whether a president deserves a third, fourth or more terms should be left to the American people, not the 22nd Amendment to the Constitution, which placed a two-term limit on the position."
Fuck.That.Shit.

You want to start talking about repealing Amendments?  Let's start with the 17th.  Then the 16th.  The 22nd is way far down the list.

I am pissed off beyond belief.

This

OUTSTANDING.

"Until America is fixed, these rides will continue"

Fuckin' A Right

Elsewhere, Doug Ross has a round-up of the so-called "shut-down" images.

Ace (actual) gives us the down-low on this weekends' trucker protest on Capitol City.

Looks like we got us a convoy...

Since it was mentioned, here's the version of "Convoy" that Ace was looking for:

If you would prefer not to be squished by an eighteen-wheeler on Friday, open NotePad, type in "T2SDA" in like 72-font, print it out, and tape it to the back-lite on your car (that's your rear windshield, to the uninitiated)
Trust me...

Pictures, being worth a thousand words...

pure genius from Chris Muir...

so anyway, Chris Muir of Day By Day fame, has put it on a tee and whacked it smackly:

Obamaha Beach, indeed
Elsewhere, Obama was just warming up with the WWII memorial, now he's upped his game by several orders of magnitude shutting down the ocean. (H/T to Purple Avenger over at AoSHQ)

That's right, TFG has ordered that the fucking OCEAN be closed because of the Federal Government slowdown.  Wanker.

But that's still not all: TFG has barricaded the Iwo Jima monument and the Vietnam wall (monument).

As Ace said about the Iwo Jima issue: "They took the actual Iwo Jima. They're not going to have much of a problem with the Iwo Jima memorial."

I hope the so called "shutdown" goes on for weeks, if not months.  It shows TFG and his cronies for what they are, and the populace will not stand for it.  We've seen smatterings of civil dis-obedience over the past four or five days, I'm hoping it increases exponentially.

BOOM! goes the dynamite!  Fresh of tonight's ONT: The Rebel Alliance is on the move:

Pragmatic Dictatorship

we are so totally boned...

so anyway, via Ace, we find this little gem by Donald Sensing:

"...Obama can do this not because the Constitution or law authorize it. Most definitely they actually prohibit it. He is getting away with it because there is no one who can stop him and almost no one who wants to stop him. No one, and I mean absolutely no one, in the Democrat party is in the slightest interested in reining in Obama's expansion of executive diktat because they know what few of the rest of us are awakening to: the Democrats are never going to lose that executive authority again. Let me be clear, with a promise to elucidate another day: there is never going to be another Republican president. Ever."

Read the whole thing.  It's almost as depressing as my explanation of why Hilary Rodham Clinton will be the next President.

A disturbing realization

and the sooner you realize it, the better...

so anyway, I have some really bad news.  You better pour yourself a stiff drink...and bring the bottle back with you.  I really wish I did not have to tell you this, and I wish it wasn't so, but as much as it pains me to say it, you need to know.

Hillary Rodham Clinton will be elected President of the United States of America in 2016.

This is as certain as Gravity and the Laws of Thermodynamics.

Here's how the whole thing is going to play out:  shortly after the 2014 mid-term elections, Vice President Biden* will leave office.  How or why doesn't really matter, be it scandal or health issues, he'll be gone.

(If you're reading this here at SSP, chances are good that you have more than a passing familiarity with The Constitution, and you know what happens next.)

With Biden out, TFG can nominate anyone he chooses to be VP, to be confirmed by the Senate.  TFG nominates HRC to be VP; and her confirmation is all but guaranteed.  You can almost hear John McCain's speech from the well of the Senate about the "lifetime of service by his dear friend HRC" (I just threw up in my mouth a little).  The sixty votes to confirm HRC as VP are not to be doubted.

Here's the part that requires a willful suspension of dis-belief: after HRC is confirmed and sworn in, TFG starts to fade away.  He'll play a lot more golf, take a lot more vacations, make a few speeches; he'll generally go "low-profile".

HRC will become the new face of the administration and to the LIV and the Gimme Free Shit brigade, all the largess from Capitol City will be by her graces.  Can you say "Hillary Phone"?

So after nearly two years of dolin' out freebies and looking like she runs the government, she's running for President.  It will almost be a re-election campaign.

As for her VP choice; it becomes three dimension chess at that point.  There are those that have suggested that HRC will pick some RINO as a running mate (the stable is full of them: Christie, Rubio, Murkowski, Collins, Snowe, McCain...the list goes on and on) to give the appearance of bi-partaniship.  I doubt it.  Bi-partisanship keeps both parties viable.  The prod-tards' end goal is to have single party, communist rule.

Are you starting to see why it is so important that conservatives take the Senate and retain the House in 2014?

We need to be constantly working to make this happen.  There are nineteen Democrat Senators up for election in 2014; one of "my" Senators (Carl Levin) has already announced his retirement and will not be seeking re-election; I'm sure there are others who will take that path as well.  Here's the list:

Mark Begich AK
Mark Pryor AR
Mark Udall CO
Chris Coons DE
Dick Durbin IL
Tom Harkin IA
Mary Landrieu LA
Mo Cowan MA
Carl Levin MI
Al Franken MN
Max Baucus MT
Jeanne Shaheen NH
Tom Udall NM
Kay Hagan NC
Jeff Merkley OR
Jack Reed RI
Tim Johnson SD
Mark Warner VA
Jay Rockefeller WV

Seriously, the names you readily recognize reads lise the who's who of prog-tardism.  Senator Al Franken?  Really? Really?

Find out who is running against these socialist prog-tards (BIRM) and do what you can to support the conservative candidate however you can.  As of today, there is only 491 days until the 2014 mid-term elections.

Four hundred ninety one days.  That's not much time, considering the task at hand.  We conservatives have to "infiltrate and educate" the LIVs and wake them up.

*Biden has Presidential aspirations of his own, but he doesn't have a machine.  The Clinton's have a machine, and TFG has the Chicago machine.  Biden is bringing a spork to a game of thermonuclear war.

Benghazi is coming home to roost...

I found this lurking in the "Draft" folder and cannot find my supporting notes.  Written on 05MAY13, it's kinda old news, but important, still.

My original sub-head was "To quote Flounder: "This is going to be great!"..."

so anyway, the Benghazi shit just got real over the past 54-ish hours.  Friday afternoon, Stephen F. Hayes of The Weekly Standard fame drops dime.

"Even as the White House strove last week to move beyond questions about the Benghazi attacks of Tuesday, September 11, 2012, fresh evidence emerged that senior Obama administration officials knowingly misled the country about what had happened in the days following the assaults. The Weekly Standard has obtained a timeline briefed by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence detailing the heavy substantive revisions made to the CIA’s talking points, just six weeks before the 2012 presidential election, and additional information about why the changes were made and by whom."

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

An ongoing Congressional investigation across five House Committees concerning
the events surrounding the September 11, 2012, terrorist attacks on U.S. facilities in
Benghazi, Libya has made several determinations to date, including:

  • Reductions of security levels prior to the attacks in Benghazi were approved at the highest levels of the State Department, up to and including Secretary Clinton. This fact contradicts her testimony before the House Foreign Affairs Committee on January 23, 2013.
  • In the days following the attacks, White House and senior State Department officials altered accurate talking points drafted by the Intelligence Community in order to protect the State Department.
  • Contrary to Administration rhetoric, the talking points were not edited to protect classified information. Concern for classified information is never mentioned in email traffic among senior Administration officials.

These preliminary findings illustrate the need for continued examination and
oversight by the five House Committees. The Committees will continue to review who
exactly was responsible for the failure to respond to the repeated requests for more
security and for the effort to cover up the nature of the attacks, so that appropriate officials
will be held accountable.

Read the whole Hayes thing.  He lays it out, chapter and verse.  I'll find the link to the "Executive Summary" and will update accordingly.

Right to Work

it's about damn time....

so anyway, I'll apologize in advance for a "video intense" post.  As you may have heard, Michigan is now a "right to work" state, and the union thugs (BIRM) are level-set on out-doing the goings on in Wisconsin a year and a half ago (or whenever it was.  I lose track of time.)
